Confirmed from Knob Hills Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Being a first time mountain biker, this was my first trail. It definitely exceeded my expectations! A very cool trail! In hind sight, I dont recall seeing the first loop turnaround point, but I may have just not noticed it (not gonna knock the place for that at all) so my buddy and I ended up doing the first two loops.

5/5 - This is a great trail for a causal hike! There is a ton of flowers/vegetation and wildlife. We saw tons of butterflies, spiders, slugs, bugs, mushrooms, turtles and animal tracks along the way (luckily no snakes!).

Be careful while you go to knob hills trail. Today afternoon someone broke into three cars, police were there and not sure if they were able to get info. This trail is amazing!!! I hope this won’t be a problem.

★★★★☆ — Maria , Dec 2023

This trail is awesome! It has some crazy technical features but also some long XC type stretches. Be ready to climb! The bonus is that there is plenty of downhill to follow. The trail is constructed in 6 loops, you can ride as short as 2.5 miles or as many as 13.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
