Confirmed from Knoop Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park known for views of downtown and the river, with a relaxed atmosphere.

“Charming historical park in a naturalized setting with stunning views of downtown Little Rock Arkansas and the State's Capital Building”
“It's not crowded and offers some nice views of the city skyline.”
Really beautiful views of downtown LR after a short, paved hike. There are lots of benches along the way to rest and at the viewing point, a very picturesque platform overlooking woods and skyscrapers. Only thing for first timers— I found it’s difficult to find the entrance.
Beautiful views overlooking The Capital!!! Very serene atmosphere... on cliff over looking Arkansas river as you walk further down, great trail for a shorter walk or run or to get in some nature time!
Beautiful view! If your ever in the area definitely check it out! Great place to take kids for a little trail walking or your dog and a beautiful view of downtown Little Rock!
A nice little park with a great view of the city. There are lots of trees along the walking path to keep you in the shade on a hot day.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
