Confirmed from Knox Farm State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Unique, multi habitat, sprawling state park minutes from the heart of East Aurora, originally owned by the Knox family of Buffalo. You can hike, cross country ski, bike (in designated areas) and ride horseback (with permit) throughout the park.

The photos don’t due justice, this place is beautiful especially during the fall. It has many trails to walk your dog, just please remember to bring water for them. It also has a library in the woods and relaxing benches to take a seat. It does has two fenced in dog areas, one for big dogs and the other for small.

One of my new favorite hiking spots in the Buffalo area! It has a nice mix of wooded trails and lovely views of the surrounding hills. Trails are well-maintained. The buildings on the property are interesting to look at—the Knoxes were not hurting for money!

Beautiful piece of land to explore our relax. Bring your kids, pets, bike, or roller blades. There's a few amazing walking trails through fields, woods, and gardens. It is a definite must visit. There's also a very cool book closet tucked back a bit in the woods with a bench.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
