This park has very wide well-maintained trails. it is great for casual walking or easy cycling. in late summer there can be a lot of insects and mosquitoes. it is best to stay on the very well groomed trails as the deer trails will have thorn bushes on them.
Beautiful area with some very nice trails to walk. There is an elevated boardwalk which you can walk and covers roughly half a mile. I didn't see much wildlife, but enjoyed the colorful foliage as the leaves were changing. I would also add that it was quite peaceful. It is not close to a main highway.
What a hidden Gem in East Aurora, NY! This park is off the beaten path. It is such a nice place to go for a nature walk! Stroller, dog and handicap friendly. The boardwalk goes throughout the walk. At the back side of the park are mowed trails through the woods that take you to the muddy creek.
There are two sides to this park and it’s quite a different experience depending on how you enter. If you park at Hubbard Rd then it’s quiet, there are some nice paths including a sometimes mowed big grass road from the lot to the woods.
