Confirmed from Koreshan State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Vast state park with picnic & camping facilities, historic buildings, trails & canoe streams.
What runners say about Koreshan State Park
“we definitely will be back, even though it is 3 hours from our home, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful park.”
“Walking through the bamboo is so peaceful, especially with a nice breeze.”
$5 entrance for cars 2 -6 people. Great state park to walk, explore history and historical buildings, picnic, fish or camp. Pet friendly. We saw a small wedding while exploring. Spent about 3 hours here 2 adults, 2 teens. We all enjoyed a great walk after brunch.
For the admission of $4 you will enjoy the great outdoors while admiring the historical cabins throughout the grounds & the simple lifestyle items displays dating back to the early 1900s. I really enjoyed the different plants and trees, especially the BAMBOO ones absolutely stunning. Picture perfect scenery ..
What awesome history. We are staying in the park for 2 weeks. Had to check this out. A lot of history. The Rangers were very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm from Florida. So, I had to learn the history of this cult. They were very self-sufficient, it seems.
Went here to walk while waiting for my vehicle to be serviced at a dealership down the road. Nice grounds, really enjoyed the River Trail. Walking through the bamboo is so peaceful, especially with a nice breeze.
