Confirmed from Kotecki Memorial park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Kotecki Memorial park
“Well maintained and easily accessible.”
“A beautiful stream runs through it and sometimes children are playing in it.”
I Like This Park... It's Quiet... Well Paved... Until You Get To The Gravel Part Which Leads You To A Wooded Side Which I Like The Most... Wish There Was More Of That... But Yeah... The Inclines... The Cool Little Bridges... The Awesome Creek... It's A Nice Place To Take In A Good Walk... 😎👍
This is a lovely place to get some exercise and experience the beauty of God's creation. The trails are gravel or asphalt while there are ample grass areas if that is your preference. A beautiful stream runs through it and sometimes children are playing in it.
A nice park recently made better with walking trails, ball fields and a bocci court. Dedicated to a GREAT guy who gave his life protecting his home town!
Very nice mostly paved walking trail. This is a great place to walk when the trails are muddy, there are a few workout stations along the way.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
