Confirmed from Kress Creek Farms Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Kress Creek Farms Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (141 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“While there are no bathrooms or water fountains there are portable toilets that are kept clean.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“25 mile trail is awesome, with scenic views of the rolling hills and beautiful landscape.”

My favorite park and disc golf course. I used to work ten minutes from here and stopped by very frequently (like 3-5 times a week on average) to play and there was never, I mean NEVER a crowd. There are 18 holes. The first six are an extremely pleasant walk through the woods with a purpose.

★★★★★ — Michael , Dec 2017

Wonderful disc golf course design, well manicured and overall a beautifully maintained property. The park also has a big playground and long walking trails. The park district rotates pin locations and only continues to add improvements to the course every year.

★★★★★ — John , Oct 2022

I really like this course in early spring and late summer/early fall. Otherwise the bugs get pretty bad. The course has a good mix of elevation, wooded, and lengthy holes. It can be a little difficult to find your way around, so it's a good idea to take a picture of the map at the entrance if it's your first time.

★★★★☆ — Shane , Dec 2016

The main feature of this park is the Frisbee golf course, however, the 1.25 mile trail is awesome, with scenic views of the rolling hills and beautiful landscape. The primarily gravel trail is in perfect condition. There's plenty of parking, a playground, and a few port-a-potties.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
