Confirmed from Kuns Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park featuring a playground, picnic tables, BBQ grills & the town's oldest tree.
What runners say about Kuns Park
“The park is clean, plenty of parking and peaceful.”
“Beautiful place to breathe before getting back to the demands of life.”
“This is a really shaded park, so during heat waves this would be a decent place to get some shade.”
“It's a nice and quiet park, but it attracts a lot of flies, which is not ideal for barbecuing or having a picnic.”
A family friendly park. Technically, dogs are not allowed according to one sign, but there are two stations along the central path providing free bags to clean up after your pet, and also a dog drinking fountain. A lot of local dog owners walk through and around the park and are responsible enough to keep it clean!
It's a nice quiet neighborhood park. Located in the middle of a nice middle-class neighborhood surrounded on all four sides by middle-class homes. There were lots of cyclists, people walking their dogs, and people in the parks in different areas exercising.
Very beautiful, well maintained park. Perfect for a walk around the park with family, friends(s) or pet(s). Or meet with family or friends. 6/2022 The park remains a great location despite the fact that several trees fell during a winter storm which brought strong winds to the area.

“It’s worth five stars but there is street parking only, no parking lot.”

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
