“Beautiful and and very peaceful for the whole family”
This trail starts on Calle de Norte, follows the river then crosses town, then follows Trivia to University Ave. 16.5 miles.
The trailhead has plenty of parking, but limited signage. Crews are paving the trail in the trailhead area. It is already paved from the edge of the parking lot northward.
Nice paved, flat walking path. We walked in January so river was very low. A few benches along the way. Portable toilet available.
Nice paved trails , as of today May 1st the Rio Grande is dry, dry, dry. But overall nice place for a walk or bike ride.
