Confirmed from Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Laid-back waterside trail offering views of downtown, picnic tables and a playground.

Quick, easy access from Rainey Street! Lovely trail along water front. Stroller and dog friendly. Superb combination of sun and shade throughout. Luckily there is a sign there to remind you how to safely use the trail after dark! ✌🏼 Austin ✌🏼
Nice place for walking and biking by the lake. There’s plenty of shade, but it gets very crowded on weekends.
Nice park for walking on the east side of Austin. Plenty of tree cover. Cool boardwalk. City views. Statues of local luminaries here and there. In the summer, we recommend going early in the morning before the sun starts to bake.
Very accessible from within the city, great to have green open spaces within reach of city dwellers. Nothing outstanding but offers a refreshing walk trail winding around the park, the lake and the river.
