Confirmed from Laguna Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

In addition to lake fishing, this 28.5-acre park offers trails, picnic areas & an equestrian center.

Really beautiful and quiet, I went on a Friday and there was almost no one super peaceful. The view was also super pretty and the water was super clean. There were also ducks, turtles, and fish. Surprisingly the lake was actually really big and you could walk around it.

Laguna Lake Park and Equestrian Center It's such a beautiful hidden gem off Euclid in Fullerton! I've been walking here for years now, and today I enjoyed a picnic and brought a good book...

★★★★★ — Valerie , Jun 2023

Ran the 9-mile loop called "Parks Road, Rosecrans, Castlewood, and Juanita Cooke Loop" on allTrails on a rainy Friday morning in December. The trails weren't too muddy, and the route was easy to follow. Started and ended at the parking lot just off of Euclid, at the southwest corner of Laguna Lake Park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
