Confirmed from Lake Ella Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic tables, and a gazebo, plus many geese and ducks.

Nice place for taking a walk or relaxing. There’s a swing which is mostly free! You can walk 360 around the lake, have a picnic or just time for yourself. Quiet, less crowded and mostly there is a parking space. There are picnic tables and a sort of mini island although not completely separated.
Beautiful park with a nice walking/running trail. Plenty of benches scattered as well as a beautiful gazebo in the middle of the lake. Some nice coffee spots and cafes are also along the trail. About a half mile loop.
Had a great time walking around the lake. The circular path is well-suited for casual walks or jogs, and its short length makes it easy to complete multiple laps without getting too tired. It’s a peaceful spot, ideal for getting some fresh air and light exercise.
Such a peaceful and charming spot! I loved walking around the pond with a treat from the nearby snowball shop. The paved trail is easy to navigate, and the scenery with the fountains and the ducks is so relaxing.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
