Confirmed from Lake Itaska Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lake Itaska Trail
“A very well maintained and beautiful trail.”
“Pretty quiet trail, there are some nice views from the boardwalk”
Found the trail after riding through the golf course neighborhood. Flowy trail, great for biking, running, walking, and just discovered the wooden bridge a few days ago.
Trail winds through pines oaks and birch. Nice boardwalk over bog. Lots of wildlife. Spotted barred owl recently Unfortunately many are using the trail with motor bikes. A young child alone almost hit me as I walked the trail a couple days ago.
A nice neighborhood trail that connects to other trails. Too bad the maintenance is lacking whereby there are many cracks with weeds growing on the paved trails.
A very well maintained and beautiful trail. On the northern part there is a boardwalk that is probably the most beautiful place in all of Ramsey
