We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lake Nicol Cliff Trails yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Swimming and hiking location, along with picnic tables, plus views and serenity.
What runners say about Lake Nicol Cliff Trails
“Love Lake Nicol beautiful and so peaceful all the time but in the evening.”
“Love Lake Nicol beautiful and so peaceful all the time but in the evening.”
The cliff trail is awesome! It was an extremely hot day so tons of sweating. The views are spectacular!
There is a trail that goes to the left of parking that is a short hike that ends on a little peninsula with a picnic table at the end. There is also an island that is accessible via boat that has seating and a nice secluded area. There are benches spaced nicely as you hike down.
