Confirmed from Lake Ramsay Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lake Ramsay Preserve
“Like others have mentioned, the trail isn't well maintained and parking can be a pain, but I enjoyed the forty minutes I spent walking here with my girlfriend.”
“It's a beautiful area and I'll definitely make a return trip soon.”
“Plenty of trails and not many people are ever there so it's very quiet.”
This is a really cool little spot not far from Covington that has a lot of long leaf yellow pine on it. Plenty of trails and not many people are ever there so it's very quiet. Plus if you venture far enough to the back you will come to the little Tchefuncte river or creek at this point.
My kids were bored so I drove over here and took them on the nature trail hike. it's beautiful and the Creek makes it even better. everyone should go and check this place out
Beautiful walk. Trail not kept up well, but that's what I like about it. Trail markers are fairly easy to follow.
Trails need to be groomed and marked a bit better. Great place for some peace and quiet. There are a few slews and a creek that runs through the preserve. Nice place just to get away and have some time for yourself.
