Confirmed from Lake Ronkonkoma County Park Home of Syag Sports' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice for walking or relaxing on a bench. Too many Canadian geese. Smelly. No swimming but there were people in the water with the geese 💩. We saw a green lizard.

This park is big and beautiful with a huge lake (Lake Ronkonkoma), benches and picnic area with BBQ pits. It has 2 playgrounds one for kids 2 - 5 yrs and the other for the bigger kids. There are public restrooms, basketball courts, walking/jogging trails, tennis courts and so much more to enjoy.

★★★★★ — Amru , May 2023

It is such a quiet park. Any noise, like the rustling of the leaves and people at the play ground walk away. Hahaha Anyway, it’s a beautiful park, with benches and old BBQ grills. A nice day to take a stroll at the beach/ park. Anyone is welcome to enjoy this beautiful park/beach.

Nice big playground, with covered seated picnic benches area nearby for parents to rest. A full basketball court, handball court, and public restrooms conveniently by. And Nice walk by the scenic lake. Need to wear sunscreen during summertime.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
