Confirmed from Lakelands Trail State Park - Stockbridge's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular biking and hiking spot featuring a paved route and a playground.
What runners say about Lakelands Trail State Park - Stockbridge
“It’s kept pretty clean and the dog bags seem to always be full if I forgot my own.”
“Gorgeous trail woth lots of wildflowers”
*the building pictured has been for sale a while. aside from that, there is a small playground,a basketball ct., ample free parking and a clean restroom, dirt trail west,,unfinished paved trail N/E, the scenery is beautiful and the current sod farm with a blended history placard is confusing.
Nice walking trails and neat to see a coffee shop at the trail head that will open in the spring. Cool history that can be read on the trail head board.
Well taken care of trail with lots of great spots to stop along the way
This trailhead has a bicycle service station, vault toilets, and plenty of parking. Adjacent to the east of this trail head this is water fountains and a small park. I rode this trail to the east past the Huron river, which was 20 miles and the trail continued a few miles past that.
Trail conditions & character
“Free parking and the trail runs from Jackson to Whitmore Lake, great for exercise or sneak away to Zukys tavern.”
“10 miles of the trail is asphalt, the 10 miles into Stockbridge is crushed and rolled limestone.”
