Confirmed from Lakeview Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large green space with 7 soccer fields, 4 softball fields, a skate park, golf course & amphitheater.
What runners say about Lakeview Park
“The park is always very clean and pleasant.”
“This park is a good place for walking, grounding and looking at beautiful scenery.”
Best park around. Skate area, Lengthy beautiful walking trail, Pavilon, Soccer Fields, Driving Range for golf, Ultimate Frisbee course, Softball fields, Playground for kids, 4 Gyms & several pokestops and last but not least a Dog Park!!! It’s Zuko and I’s new favorite place in Frankfort.
I admire and appreciate the wide open space Lakeview Park has to offer. More commonly known for it's golf course and hosting the annual "Franklin County Fair". Plenty of additional activities include but are not limited to the "Splash Pad" (sprinklers for the kids to stay cool) a skate park, sand pit for volleyball,…
One of my favorite parks in town. There's a little something for everyone. Ball diamonds, pickle ball, soccer, skate park, playground, frisbee golf, bike/walking paths and a water splash pad. There's a nice picnic pavillion too. It's not even five minutes from where we live. Always clean and well maintained.
County owned park with baseball/softball fields, walking track, skate park, soccer fields, disc golf, splash pad and a 9 hole golf course. Also hosts pavillion and County Fair events.
Trail conditions & character

“We love (see below for Ravens opinion on the park) the park in general; it's always so nicely kept, there is a dog park too, few ball fields, and even a small splash park too!”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
