Confirmed from Lamar Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Very nice park. Clean (other than goose droppings, but what are you going to do) and very wide open. Nice paths. Interesting artwork. Nice visit. It is a great park to walk or jog; I’m not sure if they allow bikes or not.

I wanted to interfere with the ducks, but I didn't. When I was a kid I used to interfere with the ducks all the time by feeding them bread. As I got older people started to tell me I shouldn't do that. Apparently, bread in moderation isn't that bad for ducks.

Beautiful park with a 1.5 mile paved walking/running path and a small lake. More seating arrangements can open the park to everyone, not just to joggers and runners. Still no playground for kids. More trees needed and I am glad the city is working on it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
