We love the paved trail around the pond. Some big cracks but a couple benches available. There is a fun beginner disc golf, sand volleyball, basketball, baseball areas along with a new play ground, splash pad and picinic areas. Dogs need to be leashed here.
This park has multiple ponds that are an excellent spot to go fishing with the kids. There is a paved trail around the largest pond that is perfect for riding bikes with the family. It also has disc golf, several fields of all types, a playground, bbq grills and was well maintained. I was impressed, we'll be back!
Beautiful park! Visited on a Monday evening around 5 and the splash pad quickly got busy. We went between the playground and splash pad. It's a very spacious park with tons to do. There is a restroom, basketball court, tennis course/pickleball, and trails. Strongly recommend!
Visited Lamar Park in winter. Plenty to do there with 2 playgrounds, bouldering wall, baseball diamond, volleyball court, good walking around ponds, frisbee golf, etc. Several pavilions and splash pad for summer time! Very family friendly. Watch out for goose poop.
