Confirmed from Lamoille River Walk Ritchie Ave Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular trail alongside the Lamoille River featuring fern and wildflower displays.

“Lamoille River Walk is an incredibly beautiful and scenic walk, easy to moderate level and well maintained.”
Lamoille River Walk is an incredibly beautiful and scenic walk, easy to moderate level and well maintained. There were plenty of people who were enjoying picnics and family time and hanging out by the river. It would be a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with kids and grandparents alike.
Beautiful fall day. Nearest hike from Maplewood Camp but must take vehicle as too far to walk. Worth the trip and good walk. I would think a moderate hike in certain parts like crossing the stream and some of the hills but mostly easy.
Nice walk for the nimble. Not for the elderly, however. My 77-year-old wife has some balance issues and the steeper sections were daunting. We made it (slowly) from the GMP trail head only to station 4.
Great place to see some wild critters of all kinds with special information posts with maps and information on the area and it's inhabitants. Great place love it perfect groomed trails and boardwalks through the entire park area. Come and see for yourself you won't regret it!
