This is the trailhead parking for the "Wildflower Trail.". Rather than talk about a small (6-8 car) gravel parking lot lovingly maintained both by the local residents and the Land Trust, I would much rather talk about the trail itself.
Loved the hike with my kids along the creek! We released our butterflies at the beginning of the trail. As we were releasing them, a snake fell from the top branches to the bottom right in front of us!!! Big beautiful snake! We also found Toad frogs! Many many toad frogs!
Beautiful trail to hike. Nice scenic views and rushing water. Very peaceful. There are also nice benches to sit and rest by the water.
As promised there were indeed wildflowers. Highlights included water, air, rocks, and laughter from other hikers. Putting feet in the water is recommended.
