Confirmed from Landis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Landis Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (705 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 8 mentions

“It’s a gorgeous park and even though it used to be more dirty, it is actually pretty well maintained today.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Beautiful park with nice paved walking paths, tons of gorgeous, tall, lush, green trees, two baseball parks, a nice playground, and a wonderful pavilion for concerts and events!”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“The huge trees, the veteran memorials and the children playing make this a peaceful place to visit.”

I love this park for the simple fact that as a kid my sister took me here to play and have fun. It is special to me because of those memories of her since she passed years ago. I still go there often. I also will drop flowers there every year on the day she died as respect for her.

I grew up coming to Landis Park. As adult, I come here to walk with my dog. The huge trees, the veteran memorials and the children playing make this a peaceful place to visit.

I only go to Landis Park in the morning to walk. The park is very well maintained, not much debris on the grounds. If you want to find a peaceful place to get in your workout, then the park is the place to go. The flowers are blooming, and the smells from flowers are intoxicating.

Decent park. Has 2 walking areas and a playground for kids. Events are hosted here during the year. You can BBQ if you bring a grill. There were basketball courts but the last time I went there they were removed. I'm not sure if they're replacing them or not.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
