Confirmed from Forest Grove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, walking trail, and facilities for baseball.
What runners say about Forest Grove Park
“Track is well-maintained playground area looked clean ample parking”
Shade!!!!! So hard to find at a playground!! The holes under the swings need to be filled in a little. 3 of the 4 swings were hung extremely high as well. We prefer to not have wood chips as our child just turned one and tries to eat them but there was lots of grass and a walking path as well.
I here every morning Walking well the days I dont work so Mondays are my Fridays, I get off Tuesday till Saturday Night every morning im here getting my prayer and walk on !!!! A sense of peace i find!!!!
A small park with a small trail surrounding the park. The park has grills and sitting tables on the side. I really like that I had somewhere to sit and enjoy the view. It has a baseball field.
Very nice relaxing environment. Great place to go and excersise or play with the kids. Use the playground, the ballfield, or walk the paved trail.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
