A beautiful, relaxing spot with several benches on a clearing right off a trail. Easy to access, only a few hundred feet from the main road, it’s a lovely place to take in the scenery, especially sunset, and also if you’re limited on time.
Absolutely beautiful place for a nice walk. Not much of a hike except for some of the places. Love the view of the golden gate bridge from here on a sunny day. On a cloudy day it is nice but I would strongly recommend going on a bright sunny day. Be careful if you go with kids as the edges are not protected in places
One of my favorite hiking spots in SF (unceded Ramaytush Ohlone land). Easy parking at the Northern end of 32nd Ave into Lincoln Park along the golf course road (El Camino Del Mar). I often hike about a mile down to the Lands End Labyrinth & Mile Rock Beach. It’s steep on the way back up, but the wooden stairs help.
