Confirmed from Larkwood Falls' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Side-of-the-road waterfall, part of a lake that supplies drinking water for the community.
What runners say about Larkwood Falls
“Sooooooooo Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 25 May ❤️❤️❤️💚 Must visit.”
This place is so beautiful!! It really is right off the road. As many have said parking is very limited, however, you don't need to be hiking for hours to get to the falls. So most people don't stay very long and parking has a reasonably high turn over rate.
Last time we were here the falls were flowing, however this time in full effect! So pretty and peaceful. Good luck parking to walk to the view. Parking is very limited, especially when ppl don’t care or know how to park. City definitely needs to expand just a bit.
Moderate only bc you need to cross deep water of the creek to get to the falls. I couldn’t do it. It was too shallow. Literally against my upper thighs and I turned around. I didn’t finish trail. The falls is dry, very very light drip. Narrow curve drive to this location. The is small parking available.
Man, the beauty is so worth having to park on someone's curb... it was a bit challenging with 2 small kids (7 and 5) to get down to the bottom, and they wouldn't climb up the falls. But it is so breathtaking. There's not really a trail due to the surrounding area being developed into a suburb (ugh).

“It doesn’t have to be a quick detour, with plenty of climbing ops, wet points, and a grand view if you keep climbing.”
