Confirmed from Larry Taylor Kiwanis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“I love taking my dog here for a walk.”

I have always seen plenty of wildlife there when I have gone in the morning or late afternoon. At noon hour, the animals seem to be resting in the shade somewhere. YMMV. Take a short walk...there is usually something great to see. What a great place to walk through! Well maintained. The paths are smooth.

Nice wooded walking park and kids playground. The parking is on the playground side. You can bring your leashed dog. I didn't walk the whole trail but noticed there is some exercise items along the trail.

Love going to Kiwanis. They have upgraded the playground area with new equipment over the past few years. Recently the trail got some new workout equipment. So, plenty to do with kids, or hiking along he trails. Its a nice little hidden area that is covered by trees.

Larry Taylor Kiwanis Park is out-of-the-way in Port Charlotte, Florida. It has a 1 mile trail. Some trails are cement some are dirt and there are several wooden boardwalks. It was not too busy today. They have exercise equipment along the trails if you’re interested in working out outside.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
