Confirmed from Larson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed, clean park for kids and nature lovers, with a playground, creeks, ball fields and a firepit.
What runners say about Larson Park
“An extremely nice, low traffic park with a heavily shaded playground and clean bathrooms nearby.”
“They've added a beautiful playground, and there's a really nice picnic pavilion, with a nearby firepit and a rain garden.”
“One hidden, off the path, and possibly verboten feature of Larson Park, is access to Shady Creek.”
“It was well manicured, serene, and a nice new place for my 2 bullies to get some fresh air and explore.”
My first visit to this park was very pleasant. It was well manicured, serene, and a nice new place for my 2 bullies to get some fresh air and explore. I loved the cozy, residential vibe and the wooded trails.
Pleasant spot with a lovely curated garden entrance. This location had a large pavilion, play area, fire pit, tennis courts, a couple of different sports diamonds, and a bit of a hike. The hike was dictated by a wooden fence you could follow. While there was a bit of water, the creek was mostly dried up.
Serene. Spread out. Covers all the bases. Good for all ages. Not the greatest tennis courts, but prolly suitable for intermediate and beginner racqueteers. Lovely small creek running through...gorgeous when winter freezes the water down to a trickle and little icicles appear.
First time at the spark and it looks very unique, two tennis courts with imitation grass or carpet. Ball fields and grassy areas and plenty of trees. Worth taking a hike around. Check the South east corner there are beautiful gardens. Eclectic old houses in the area worth walking around and looking at.

“While the swingset could use an update, the fact that the playground, pavilion, parking and bathroom are all in close proximity to one another was a plus for me.”
“Super dog friendly, although it does seem that the majority of pooches are a tad older, slower, etc.”
