Confirmed from Las Acequias Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A basketball court and 2 playgrounds are among the features at this grass-filled park.
What runners say about Las Acequias Park
“So wholesome and clean that it could be the star of a movie about cute neighborhood parks.”
“I'll often take my dogs for a walk on the paved walking trail, we have hosted birthday parties for my kids at the large covered Pavilion, or someone we just fly a kite.”
This is such a great little park! The walking path is designed to give you more distance in a single loop than you would expect, given the park's size. There is also a full basketball court, a kid's jungle gym/play area, and a picnic area. The whole thing is clean and well-maintained. Good vibes!
Very nice place to hang out. Not too crowded, porta potties are always clean, basketball courts are well. Kept gazebo has outlets for charging devices or bringing some type of karaoke machine or just a speaker to listen to music or even for a movie if you decided you wanted to put up a drop cloth and watch a movie…
This hidden little park is adorable! Artwork, two different playgrounds, lots of green space, multiple picnic bench areas and, most important, small children, families flying kites and dog walkers. So wholesome and clean that it could be the star of a movie about cute neighborhood parks.
It would be nice if there was another set of swings at the park, or a teeter toter, but the amount of grassy space that is here and the presence of two play structures for different ages is fabulous.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
