Confirmed from Lasting Legacy Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park featuring a play area, picnic tables, grills, and a memorial.
What runners say about Lasting Legacy Park

“Beautiful park with a lot of benches tables rest rooms, grilling area, it was lacking the the playground dept.”
“It's a great location and very peaceful even with all the traffic on 59”
Great playground for little and big kids. The ground is soft playground turf - not mulch or gravel so the kids left clean! The park has a few grills and many picnic spots. It also has a lot of walking paths if you just want to take a walk.
Great park, good for the whole community. There's a playground for little kids, a well kept & maintained soccer field. Wonderful, well lit walking path. Off street parking. The ampitheater is excellent for small events. The war memorial is breathtaking and a solid thank you for everybody that has served this country.
Beautiful park. I live 40 miles from Gillette so I have a long wait between errands or appointments, I love going to lasting legacy park and just hanging out in my car or on one of the many benches/grass areas and reading or playing on my phone. It's a great location and very peaceful even with all the traffic on 59
Very pretty and large park. They even have an open large flat piece of property to play fetch with your doggo!!! A nice manmade stream running through it, an ampitheater (spelling?), bar-b-que grills and play area for the kids. Restrooms are located more towards the front end, closer for the kids and are good sized.
