Confirmed from Lawrence Hopewell Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lawrence Hopewell Trail
Our favorite local walking and biking trail. Farm roads that have been converted to nature trails through the historic AT&T Pole farm, connected to Bristol Myers Squibb, ETS, and other scenic areas.
Cool trail going through many of the parks and preserves in Lawrence and Hopewell. But some parts of the trail get really hot in the afternoons, so bear that in mind while doing the trail.
Excellent trail for bikes or foot. I have done both and can't pick a favorite. Occasional trips to the Observation Tower for sunsets, all is good here.
Awesome trail for biking. Can't wait for the final sections to be completed. Thankfully the on-road portions are short.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
