This is a great park with a good variety of obstacles do’s climbing, sliding and swimming. There’s a small creek for throwing rocks into. And several easy paths for a quick nature stroll. No bathrooms that I could see and no dedicated parking.
The playground in Hopewell Park is one of the best around. It has a giant castle with many slides and climbing instructions for kids older than 4-years old. For younger children, they can stick to one area of the castle but I would supervise.
This local, dog-friendly park has a lovely Victorian gazebo, an impressive playground, picnic area and a variety of trails for strolling. We explored part of a shady dirt trail with our leashed dog.The trail ran alongside the little Beden Brook with lots of native plantings on the banks.
This is a beautiful park in a charming town.
