Confirmed from The Watershed Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about The Watershed Reserve
This is always our favorite spot. We'll shaded trail, turtle, snake, frog, (that we get really lucky to spot this time). Depending in when you visit, butterfly garden. Frog playground. And they are updatitn with this tunnel looking thing. Sandbox and a children play area with books and blocks.
A lot of nice trails. When thinking we would go for 1 hour and end up staying for 5 hours. They have like a small store of items they sell. Didn’t see any food or snacks so plan accordingly or unless it was just me who didn’t see one. Will be back soon.

Plan your run at The Watershed Reserve
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
