Confirmed from Leach Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Compact park featuring a playground for kids, a tennis court and a walking trail.
What runners say about Leach Park
“It IS small but clean and perfect for younger kids.”
Great little park. Variety of toys for kids to play on. Full size tennis court. Basketball court. Along with the walking trail, right there too. We love to take a snack and eat it under the gazebo. It's never too busy, the kids can't enjoy themselves. And it's always clean.
A nice 'pick your adventure' hiking trail right on the edge of city limits. Beginner to intermediate hiking for all ages and abilities. Lots of variety of fauna and flora.
It IS small but clean and perfect for younger kids. The local elementary class walks here once a year to play, it's a nice quite alternative to the bigger one.
Love the walking trail and small playground for kids. In the winter my kids love to sled down the little hill that is the perfect size for them.
Trail conditions & character
“Nice park, bathroom, tennis court recently refinished, kids park.”
