Confirmed from Legion Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic area, basketball and pickleball courts, and a paved walking trail.
What runners say about Legion Park
“Didn't get a chance to use the restroom due to that, so I can't say how well maintained they are.”
“Very nice and clean and pretty calm as well.”
“Love walking our dog here.”
Wow really nice facility that seems to have been updated in the last year. Great covered stadium seating for a soccer field. Pickleball and basketball courts. Picnic area, walking paths, and plenty of parking. Nestled in a neighborhood so walkable for many people in the community.
It was nice to walk around the loop path and watch the birds. Saw a rabbit. Nice pickleball courts, soccer field with new bleachers, and a picnic shelter too. I took a photo to show my family later and got yelled at by some guy who was there and started screaming at me about how he didn't want to be in my photo,…
This place was so nice! We stopped by to have lunch, and ended up staying a while to let the kids play and go for a little walk.
Love walking our dog here. Always well maintained and lots of squirrels for the dog to see.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
