Confirmed from Leland Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Leland Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (154 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Good playset, swings, plenty of shade, and there's even a roller blade hockey ring.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Cute, quiet park tucked away in a neighborhood.”

Nice n simple park right off of a main road in Woburn. Swings, slides, rope pyramid, baseball field, basketball court and a street hockey rink. A little bit of everything to do there for kids all ages that like to run around.

★★★★★ — Chris , Sep 2019

"NO DOGS" posted here. Make sure you bring 10. It is perfect for dogs to run without a leash because it is fenced in. Pick up after yourself and dog. Also, keep leashed while other dogs are here.

★★★★☆ — Johnny , Jun 2018

Nice, clean, and playful playground. Plenty of space for kids to run around and enjoy the obstacle course. One part of the slides is broken so be careful. Other than that, just needs a public bathroom nearby for kids. Would love to see baseball games there too.

★★★★☆ — Akiko , Sep 2024

Nice park. Good playset, swings, plenty of shade, and there's even a roller blade hockey ring. There are public restrooms across the parking lot, which by the way provides ample parking.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 10 mentions

“Only issue was short fence behind one basket so we had to chase the ball into the parking lot a few times.”
