Confirmed from Lemansky Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lemansky Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (403 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“It is also clean; they have a nice walking track and a nice playground for the kids, and the dog park, as I mentioned.”

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“Best local place to jog, play basketball, football, soccer, tennis, walk your dog and let the kiddos explore the playground.”

Lamansky park is a wonderful place to bring children of all ages. They have a track available and huge fields for running and playing. We practice lacrosse there on Fridays. They also have tennis courts. If you walk up the hill it brings you to the Auburn ice skating rink.

Such a welcoming place to bring the whole family!!! So much to do!!! Winter time there's a massive hill to sled, snowboard and just roll around, also the ice hockey rink is right there. Then in warmer months, activities from basketball to the newly opened skate park will keep everyone engaged!!!

I can only really speak of the dog park since I only frequent this part of the park, but it's so nice that we drive out a ways, regularly, to this place. They always have bags available if you run out, to pick up your dog's poo. There are stones instead of grass so it wouldn't get muddy.

The Lemansky Park, referred to as Rocketland by me, is a great place to get some exercise for both adults and children. I came here on this particular day to use the dog park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
