Great walking trail right on the Merrimack. Very leisurely and easy with gorgeous views year round!
One of the many "little gems" scattered throughout the state of NH where anyone can enjoy an easy nature walk. Bring your four-legged friend along as well (poop bags provided!). Lots of pathways to meander on, or bee line straight to the Merrimack River.
The entrance to the conservation center is a little bumpy there are a lot of surface routes for the first 25 to 30 yards and then it goes into a nice wide path easy access relatively level until it comes out to the Merrimack River and then there's a nice pathway along the river for 1/4 to 1/2 a mile and there are…
One of the nicest areas I've found to walk along the Merrimack. The trail is well maintained with interpretive markers, and the area is clean. The area is very swampy in general, it is pretty but can be very buggy/muddy.
