Love it here 😊 It is a great place to explore all year round. The trails along the river are suitable for all ages and experience levels. It's a perfect place for families to spend quality time together, as well as for individuals who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Great trails...however, car window was smashed, purse stolen. As was the girl parked next to us. Stupid junkies running amuck. I hope they die!
***Google directions are wrong - see below*** Easy, broad trail that is jogging-stroller friendly. There are several spots where you can get down to the water. We stopped at one about 2/3 mile from the parking lot (caution for kids who can't swim - it gets deep just a few strides from the beach).
A great spot to cool off on a hot day or just enjoy the water. The trails along the river are easy but nice. One word of caution though: Make sure all valuables are locked away in the trunk of your car or out of site. My car was broken into (smashed window) and my wife's purse was stolen.
