Confirmed from Les Gove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park offers 20 acres of walking trails, a playground & by-the-hour cottage rentals.
What runners say about Les Gove Park
“The park was clean and there were a lot of different kinds of people there.”
“There are activities for children of all ages.”
Children's Play area is great. Paved loop around park is really nice to walk. The library is next door. Nice picnic tables and benches in different area's. Great 4th of July Event
There seems to be a bit of something here for everyone. Several places for picnics or parties, a cool climbing wall, a playground for children, and a short but nice walking path. The park was clean and there were a lot of different kinds of people there.
Decent play ground. They had multiple options for kids to run. I like that they have restrooms. Tons of space to spread out they have a covered BBQ area but it is only big enough for one party. A group was using it while we were there. There is a veterans memorial in the park as well.
Les Gove Park is just easy. I stopped by for a little bit and ended up walking around longer than I meant to because it has a comfortable feel and a layout that makes sense. Good for families, a casual walk, or just being outside for a while, and the convenient spot does help.
Trail conditions & character
“There are 2 main parking lots which is never enough when there are events but ok for a regular weekend.”
“I wish the restrooms had been open when I was there.”
“Paved loop around park is really nice to walk.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
