Beautiful walk and views of the marina on Lake Michigan. It’s about a little over a mile round trip. Enjoy a walk with yourself, friends, or pets. I love coming out here as often as I can since I am local. Definitely worth it, no disappointment at all. You can walk up the stairs and to the back of the lighthouse.
A small beach park between the marina and the Manitowoc Yacht Club. The attraction here is the walk out on the north Manitowoc jetty. On your walk out to the photogenic light house, you will encounter a water impoundment that is good for spotting shorebirds, and the Paws and Play dog park.
Peaceful spot right on the lake with great views of the Manitowoc Lighthouse and Lake Michigan. Easy walking paths, picnic tables, and a small beach area. You can watch the S.S. Badger ferry come in most days during summer which is super cool to see up close!
Finished my consulting early for the day. I'm a sucker for lighthouses. Prepare for a little walk, about half-a-mile from the parking lot to the lighthouse. Worth the walk as there are great views when you get out there.
