Nice place to spend a few hours hiking. There is an art trail, made in honor of a young person who loved art and the woods. It was icy still the day I went there, just had to be careful in shady areas where the sun was scarce. Very peaceful, there were places here and there to sit and watch the water run by.
Really nice park! I was here at 4pm on a weekday and only 1 other car was in the parking lot. It can be a bit of a maze at times. I use the geocaching app and On X app which shows the trails so I could navigate.
It was an easy hike and the art plus the scenic view was worth the time
600 acres and so much to offer, we barely tapped the tip of the ice berg here. Exploring the grounds you'll discover secret little trails and random pieces of whimsical art, birds, bugs, and different biomes. We stopped on a road trip and were delighted we did!
