Confirmed from Lime Kiln Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring 2 brick kilns and a walking trail through a wooded area with a babbling brook.
What runners say about Lime Kiln Park
Absolutely splendid experience. The river was an absolute highlight. Great paved trail as well as options for adventuring on dirt paths. A random visit that turned out to be exceptional.
Great place to walk and see the beauty of God's creation in Menomonee Falls!
This is probably one of my favorite parks in the area. There are a few spots to veer off of the walking path where you are close to the river. It's a beautiful place for a mini hike, or in my case shoot some senior photos.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
