Confirmed from Rivers Edge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Rivers Edge Park
“Lovely little park with a beautiful pond full of frogs and lots of trees and greenery.”
“I liked how quiet it was because it gave us the opportunity to take our time taking our pictures without people walking by us.”
Lovely lake with a gravel path all the way around it. It's popular for dog walking, so much so that dogs have made their own path next to the gravel one! Love this place -- great for taking sunset photos.
Super nice place for an evening walk. Lots of fish, frogs and birds to watch while walking. Easy walk on gravel with benches scattered about. A nice way to see a bit of nature.
This park is gorgeous and well maintained. Quiet, the water is beautiful, and there is a good trail for walking and running for both you and a four legged friend.
What a quiet little get away for a leisurely stroll in nature. Listen to the sounds of frogs croaking and birds chirping in a getaway from the urban sounds. Well maintained path and friendly happy folks make this a great walking path.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
