Confirmed from Rotary Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring picnic shelters, a trail, softball & volleyball, a playground & restrooms.
What runners say about Rotary Park
“We had a large picnic here a in the fall and it was very well maintained and just an overall good spot.”
“The park is beautifully maintained and stretches along the Menomonee River, making it a scenic place to unwind.”
“There are plenty of sturdy trees with just the right spacing, so it’s easy to set up and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.”
This is a great park that I've been visiting ever since I was a child. There's a park with a playground, a big river flows through the middle of the park which is my favorite part to walk....& also catch minnows and crawfish. I've also had several family reunions here due to the large picnic area.
This park is so beautiful and peaceful and has so many things to do for a relatively normal/small park. There is a walking trail, river, two pavilions, one having a big fireplace and grill.
Nice park for my grandkids, 4 & 6yo. Much shade by the play area is welcome, as are the many picnic tables. The paved paths are excellent for exploring the Menomonee river with bridges to boot! We fished once and caught a teeny perch which we then released!
I love our park! I grew up next to it and whenever I go home I go for walks. You can rent the pagodas for events and there is an old trail in the woods I explored from 30 years ago—if you can find it :D Hint: from the parking lot, walk towards the woods and pause at the edge.
