We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Linear Trail Casement and Hayes Dr. yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Linear Trail Casement and Hayes Dr.
Presumably "linear" refers to the straight stretches making up a significant proportion of the trail. But applied to the whole thing, it's something of a humorous misnomer. Maybe the "As Linear as Possible Given the Geographical Constraints Trail" would be a more accurate name.
The part we went on was a great place to walk/ride bikes, but not so great for scooters (kind of gravel like). I don't know if the whole trail is the same way because we didn't do the whole thing.
Superb biking trail. Trails actually. You got the one up top that's wide flat with great views and the lower more BMX style down by the river in the trees very awesome.
The perfect place for a walk or a bike ride. Multiple paths that offer an array of scenery
