Confirmed from Jorgensen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Jorgensen Park
I am one of the children that play in Jorgensen Park. I live nearby and some of my friends and I have created a little world down there. Although I love the park dearly and grew up there, the city has not handled the renovations well.
A surprising amount of wildlife in such a small area: raccoons, opossum, blue jays, squirrels, neighborhood cats, skunks, cardinals, and at least one owl. It’s a nice area to be outside with easy access to the neighborhood and Anderson.
Really cool little area. Highly forested in the middle of a wash, sort of like a little valley. a great place to hang out and look for mushrooms or run around or whatever.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
