Confirmed from Lions Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lions Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (227 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 8 mentions

“Small playground area, but plenty to do for kids and maybe even smaller adults too 😅 Soccer field looked well kept and maintained.”

We went to Lions Park for the first time since it was opened last fall, and we were blown away! There's plenty to do at the park for my boys (ages 3 & 6), and even the adults enjoyed it. From their website: "Lions Park features a poured-in-place surface making elements accessible by wheel chair.

First time there and only went to the first park, it looks to have 3 parks throughout with lots of nice walking trails. I was happy to see some porta potties so we didn't have to leave once the kids had to go. But there was only one picnic table to sit at next to the park.

Awesome Awesome park. Plenty of slides. Room for little kids to run, climb and have fun. Very clean as well. I don't know what the floor is made of but it's pretty soft. I'm not concerned about my kid falling while running.

This is a nice park with good playground equipment, one soccer field, and one baseball field. There are public bathrooms available at the park. Lions Park is within Long Lake Regional Park which has pavilions, a beach, and walking trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 5 mentions

“I have now extension on the garage Driveway open up the bathroom and put a Jacuzzi in it and sell it.”
