We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lions Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“The park is clean, well-maintained, and offers something for everyone, whether you’re looking to play, relax, or enjoy a picnic outdoors.”

Lions Park in Placerville, CA, is quite a gem. She's a beaut! The park was dedicated in 1968 by the Placerville Lion's Club. 24 acre park with two tennis courts, four pickle ball courts, two softball fields, frisbee disc golf course, children's play area, restroom, walking trail, and picnic tables and bbqs.

We recently moved here and was looking for a park so my dog could run around. This park is perfect. Never super crowded. It's kept very clean. My dog loves rolling in the grass and running. We have only seen a few other dogs there so she really hasn't made any new friends. The people are super friendly.

Would recommend going if you have animals. Me and my pup love going here for our little picnics. It's always pretty well maintained. There are quite a few questionable people here at times. Bathrooms could use some TLC. My pups favorite part is the baseball field. She loves the grass and the openness to run.

Nice park. Many people are walking dogs there and there are plenty of places for your dog to play and explore. Restroom facilities are very clean and maintained very well. Baseball diamond and jungle gym and a newly added disc golf course.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 9 mentions

“It has two sets of restrooms, drinking fountains (one for humans and one for dogs), and overall I would recommend this as a good place for an outing.”
