Confirmed from Lumsden Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lumsden Park
“Nonetheless, it's a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city.”
“This small park does see a lot of traffic during the afternoon hours Monday thru Friday while it remains fairly quiet all day long on Saturday and Sunday.”
We were in the area for Apple Hill Adventures, and took our son to this park before driving back home. There is a playground but no restrooms. And a small walking path around a pond. Would like to visit again.
I absolutely love this park. I love the lake and walking around it! Fun to explore
This is a very small park with no bathroom facilities, a couple picnic tables and just enough room to take your dog out for a nice walk around the lake on the walking trails that encircle the lake.
Went here to just think for a bit. It was quiet and had shade unfortunately the ducks don't have much water right now, but they still looked happy enough in their puddles of water.
Trail conditions & character
“There’s no restroom, but there are a couple of picnic tables (without grills).”
“I wanted to venture further but having two senior dogs and the fear of rattlesnakes I stayed off of the trail.”
